Tarot Divination has long been used as a guide in the form of \u201cimagery\u201d. The study of Metaphysics and Tarot can be traced as far back as 469 BC to Socrates a Greek Philosopher who was known for his references to the \u201csign\u201d or what we call \u201cintuition\u201d which he characterized as \u201ca phenomenon\u201d whose origin was divine, mysterious and independent of his own thoughts – \u201cdivine\u201d inspiration that gave him, and people like him, access to higher insights about reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The term Metaphysics (meta=\u201dafter\u201d physics) or \u201cbeyond the physical\u201d was associated with Aristotle, a Greek Philosopher, in his writings about his teacher Plato who was a student of Socrates. He referred to Metaphysics as \u201cfirst philosophy\u201d or \u201cthe theologic science\u201d. His work \u201cMetaphysics\u201d is considered to be one of the greatest philosophical works and was the beginning of works which are known as \u201cAristotle\u2019s Metaphysics\u201d. The Middle Books (Zeta, Eta and Theta) are considered the \u201ccore\u201d of Metaphysics. Aristotle counseled Alexander the Great and two other future Kings \u2013 Ptolemy & Cassander with the use of his metaphysical symbolism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In my studies I came across an old manuscript \u201cMeditations on the Tarot: A Journey into Christian Hermeticism\u201d \u2013 originally published anonymously – so that the works could \u201cspeak for themselves\u201d. Data from this manuscript began my 13 year effort to incorporate the works of the many Masters of Tarot into one powerful source which could be used by the Reader to develop their own personal understanding of the meanings of the cards \u2013 using the various references as a guide.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cEnergy\u201d is the focus of Crystal Clear Reflection Tarot Divinations. The energy we carry with us from past experiences is stored in our subconscious mind as a memory. This energy regenerates itself as a \u201cfeeling\u201d any time a current situation begins to reveal \u201csigns or flags\u201d which are similar to a past experience. These feelings convey an important message for those who are willing to listen – they are \u201cred or green lights\u201d helping us to choose how we wish to proceed in current situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As we come to know and become familiar with our own energy – we begin to connect to the energy that surrounds us – we learn to distinguish between our own energy and the energy of someone entering our \u201cspace\u201d. This awareness helps us determine our response. The TAROT cards provide a \u201cpicture\u201d of the energy surrounding your situation – a picture which views your situation from different perspectives – helping you to \u201csee\u201d things in a new light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am using the imagery from the Waite-Rider Tarot Deck because the images are very simple, while the details and backgrounds hold a wealth of symbolism. Some text and the \u201cSpecial Messages\u201d sections were derived from the Karmic Tarot, by William C. Lammey. Some text and the \u201cQuestions to Answer\u201d section was derived from works by Mary K.
